From AY07 to AY17, UT DAllas was the second fastest growing public doctoral university in the country according to The Chonicle of Higher Education. Graphic shows growin enrollment with total enrollment for AY19 at 28,543.
Fall 2019 Student Profile. 16,747 male; 12,796 female. 5,834 part-time; 23,709 full-time. 8,549 graduate; 20,994 undergraduate. Youngest student is 15; oldest student is 85. Top states: Texas with 22,950, followed by California, Illinois, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Florida. Top Texas counties: Collin with 6,830 followed by Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, Harris, Travis. Top Countries: USA with 24,282 followed by India, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Vietnam.
29,543 enrolled Fall 2019. 45.2% bachelor's degrees awarded to economically disadvantaged students (AY18). 67.8% undergraduates who received merit- and need-based aid (AY18). 32.5% undergraduates who received Pell grants (Fall 2017).

Top declared majors of full-time incoming freshman. Behavioral and brain sciences 11% including number 4 major neuroscience and number 9 phsychology. Management 17% with number 5 finance. Natural Science and Mathematics 19% with number 2 biology and number 10 biochemistry. Engineer and computer science 38% with number 1 computer science, number 3 mechanical engineering and number 5 biomedical engineering. All other schools make up 14% with number 7 major healthcare studies and number 8 arts, technology and emerging communication.
